After conducting a search of a Siler City residence on Dec. 29, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office’s Vice Narcotics Unit arrested three people on various charges.

With the assistance of North Carolina Probation/Parole, Randolph County authorities searched the residence at 3045 Old Coleridge Rd., Siler City, and during the search found Stephen Everwine Jr. hiding inside a closet, authorities said.

Law enforcement authorities ordered Everwine to come out but he refused, according to authorities.

Detectives entered the closet and Everwine attempted to fight, sustaining minor injuries for which he was treated at Randolph Hospital and released.

Items of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana were located during the search, authorities said.

Everwine was charged and placed in Randolph County Jail under a $15,000 secured bond. For a probation/parole violation, Everwine also received no bond.

Two other people who  were present in the house at the time the police search was conducted were also charged.

Damien Vonshely Mitchell, 21, of 3045 Old Coleridge Rd., Siler City, was written a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and Mark Anthony Stanley, 56, of 3045 Old Coleridge Rd. was written a citation for simple possession of marijuana.
