Jimmie Dale Eastin, 67, of Sanford, died Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
He was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, son of the late Jimmie Bob Eastin and Edith Marie Head Garven. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, L.G. “Buck” Moore, his sister, Mallina Bonacorrso and his daughter, Leslie Southwick.
He is surived by his wife of 49 years, Judy Marie Fields Eastin of the home, daughter, Misty Benson of Benson, Tonya Bunnell of Sanford, Marisa Szlachta of Huntsville, Alabama; son, Jeremy Jones of Vienna, Austria; sisters, Kathy Alburger of King City, California, and Donna Morrison of San Antonio, Texas; brothers, John Wayne Gertisen of Moncure, Jim Eastin, Jeff Eastin, Joel Eastin, all of Neosho, Mo; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
