CCS will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday to vote on a recommendation to remove the existing face covering mandate, effective March 7. If the board approves the recommendation, all of CCS will shift to a mask-optional policy as of March 7 — for the first time since the pandemic began in March of 2020.
