William “Billy” McDuffie, 78, of Sanford, died Friday, (08-10-2018) at his home.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday, (08-13-2018), with Dr. Royce Baker, Rev. Larry Harrison, and Rev. James Estes presiding. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. McDuffie was born in Caswell County, on December 10, 1939, to the late Daniel and Ava Ellington McDuffie. He worked for Coty until his retirement. Billy was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Pyrant, Geraldine Harrison, and Pauline Holt; brothers, Harold and Daniel McDuffie, Jr.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Nancy Ross McDuffie of the home; daughters, Carol McDuffie and Tonya McDuffie Hogan, both of Sanford; sister, Carolyn Talbott of Sanford; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
