Steven Eugene “Gene” Oldham, 68, of Pittsboro, died Friday, December 18, 2020, at home.
The funeral service was held Monday, December 21, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Rock Spring Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Gooch and Rev. Bob Wachs presiding. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Gene was born in Durham County on November 23, 1952 to the late Chapin and Audrey Campbell Oldham.
Survivor include his wife, Vicky Thomas Oldham; sons, Steve Oldham and T.J. Oldham, both of Pittsboro; two granddaughters; and one brother, Pierre “Pete” Oldham of Asheboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions to be made in Gene’s memory to UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, UNC Health Foundation, Attn: UNC Lineberger, P.O. Box 1050, Chapel Hill, N.C. 27514.
