Mollie Delina Woody, 84, of Goldston passed away Monday, December 21, 2020, at UNC Hospice, Pittsboro.
The family received friends Wednesday, December 23, 2020, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Mike Garner officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery
Mrs. Woody was born December 21, 1936, a native of Chatham County and the daughter of Archie and Ethel Hilliard Wilkie. In addition to her parents, Mollie was preceded in death by her sisters, Elma Hatch, Emma Brewer, Mae Gaines, and brothers, Robert, Frank and Rubert Wilkie. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Donald Woody; son, Donnie Woody of Siler City; sisters, Frona Eads of Siler City, Linda Wicker of Goldston; and three grandchildren.
