Maria Lynelle Rimmer Poe, 45, of Bear Creek passed away on February 12, 2021, at her home.

The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at Brush Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Frank Taylor, Rev. Kyle Green and Rev. Robert Kidd presiding.

Maria was born in Moore County on October 24, 1975, to Chesley and Carolyn Kidd Rimmer. She was a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church and an office administrator for Edward Jones in Lillington.

Maria is survived by her husband of 23 years, Charlie “Dennis” Poe of the home; parents, Chesley and Carolyn Rimmer of Bennett; and sister, Ellen Rimmer of Carthage.
