Larry Poindexter “Tadpole” Pugh, Jr., 67 of Carthage died Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at his home.

The family will conduct a memorial service at a later date.

Larry was born in Randolph County in 1952, son of the late Robert Pugh and Maggie V. Richardson. He worked as a drywall installer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers.

Survivors include his wife Patricia of 32 years; children, Chris Haga of Liberty, Larry Junior Pugh of Pennsylvania, Donnie Ray Haga of Asheboro; sisters, Patricia Blankenship, Dianne Hill, JoAnne Brooks, all of Asheboro; brothers, Joe Pugh, Chris Pugh, also of Asheboro; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
