Kathy Atkins Baxter, 48, of Bennett, died Monday, (07-30-2018) at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, (08-03-2018) at Pleasant Grove Christian Church with  Rev. Don Edwards officiating.  Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Kathy was native of Chatham County, employed as a Financial Representative II with State Employees’ Credit Union in Siler City and a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Edward Atkins.
Survivors include her  husband, Shane Baxter of the home; daughter, Kaitlyn Baxter of the home; mother, Irene Hayes Atkins of Siler City; brother, Wayne Edward Atkins of Siler City; grandmother, Mary Hash of Siler City.
