Jordan-Matthews rolls past Eastern Randolph on strength of strong first half

SILER CITY — Jordan-Matthews erupted for three goals in the opening half Monday night in rolling past Eastern Randolph 4-0 in 2A PAC 7 Conference girl’s soccer action.

The Lady Jets improved to 6-1 in the conference with the victory and to 9-5 overall while the Wildcats fell to 1-6 in the PAC 7 and to 1-7 overall.

Balance was the name of the game for Jordan-Matthews versus Eastern Randolph as the locals saw four players reach the scoring column led by a goal and an assist from Iris Grandos.

Litzy Flores Martinez, Jennifer Parroquin and Daniella Guerrero Jaimes each added a goal for the Lady Jets.

Hannah Jones picked up the win in goal with three saves after working all 80 minutes in the net.
