JoAnn Hardy, 80, of Sanford, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at her home.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Shallow Well Cemetery with Pastor Wendell McGee officiating.
She was born in Johnston County on February 2, 1940, to the late Emory and Adline Worley Stewart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Hardy and three sisters, Darlene Stewart, Alice Crawford and Emma Eatmon. JoAnn owned and operated The Junk Shop.
JoAnn is survived by her son, Jimmy Hardy of Broadway; daughter, Darlene Overfield of Florida; sisters, Phyllis Palmer of Gulf, Arlene Patterson of Broadway, Betty Sue Gentry of Greenville; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
