Donna Sharpe Bryant, 77, of Sanford, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Central Carolina Hospital.
A graveside service was held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Cameron Grove Cemetery with Rev. Robert Thomas officiating.
She was born in Lee County on May 17, 1943, to the late Ben Joe Sharpe and Mary Frances (Mae) Gilmore Sharpe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Ralph Edward Bryant; one granddaughter; siblings Frankie Sharpe, Van Sharpe and Mary Deanna Sharpe.
Donna worked in the banking industry.
Donna is survived by her daughters Paula Harrison, Marianna Cauthen, both of Sanford and, Edana McDonald of Carthage; son Jimmy Bryant of Sanford; brother Benny Sharpe of Sanford; sisters Becky Kelly of Broadway, Frances Kelly, Jackie Tart, Patricia Stone and Jenny Kennedy, all of Sanford; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
