Bobby Richard Davis, 80, of Broadway, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at his home.
The memorial service was held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Jonesboro Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Taylor officiating.
He was born in Lee County to the late Max Carlton Davis and Mazille Sauls Currie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Currie. Bobby was a graduate of Sanford Central High. He retired after a career with IBM. After retirement he worked in the family business, Davis Sales Company. Bobby also worked at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home for many years. He was a member and Elder of Jonesboro Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Judy Gupton Davis; sons, Rick Davis, Darryl Davis; brothers, Carlton Davis, Mitchell Currie, Roger Currie, Tim Currie, Dennis Currie; sister, Sandy Currie; seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
