Betty Jean Wall McNeill, 81, of Sanford, passed away on Thursday, (09-20-2018) at her home.
The funeral was held Monday,(09-24-2018) at 2 p.m. at Pineywood Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Sims presiding. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. McNeill was born in Moore County, on February 12, 1937, to the late Clyde David and Lula Mae Childress Wall. Mrs. McNeill was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Eugene McNeill and son, David Clyde McNeill.
Surviving relatives include, sons, Samuel Eugene McNeill, Jr of Pinehurst and Timothy Allen McNeill of Wilmington; daughter Susan Whitt of Sanford; sisters, Louise Snowden of AZ, Peggy Abshear of Sanford and Margie Schnader of AL; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
