Jordan-Matthews boys basketball’s Brennen Oldham earns athlete of the week honors for the week of Jan. 22.
In a 74-70 win over Graham, Oldham scored his 1,000th career point during a career-high 26-point performance. Oldham also grabbed nine rebounds — just one board shy of recording his fourth consecutive double-double.
As of Monday, Oldham is the top rebounder and a top 10 scorer in the Mid-Carolina 1A/2A conference, averaging 16 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.
