Wren Memorial Library scheduled to reopen Monday

SILER CITY — After a couple months closed, Siler City's public library has a re-opening date.

The Wren Memorial Library, a branch of Chatham County's library system, will reopen to the public at noon on Monday. The building closed July 29 for, according to a county press release, "extensive maintenance work in the ceiling and roof areas."

The library will return to regular hours, which are:

• Monday: Noon to 8 p.m.
• Tuesday-Friday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
