To the Editor:
The news media has often referred to the origin of the coronavirus as China.
Although it’s been said the coronavirus germ can not survive on an inanimate object, I see no reason to chance it as long as we still have some items manufactured in the U.S. Those who will be purchasing Christmas presents in the coming weeks may want to avoid giving someone a gift that came from China. Not knowing the number of years Americans will be facing the threat of dying from COVID-19, it may be a good idea to avoid buying anything coming from China for at least the next four years.
