Mr. Wayne Bullard, 82, of Sanford, passed away Sunday, (12-30-2018) at his home.
The funeral service was held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, (01-02-2019) at Tramway Baptist Church with Dr. John Allen and Travis Corley officiating. Burial followed in Center United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Bullard was born May 21, 1936 in Lee County, the son of the late Charles Carson and Velma Wicker Bullard. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael Wayne Bullard; an infant daughter; siblings, Mary Colleen Bullard, Robert Lee Bullard, Calvin Monroe Bullard, Ruth Bullard Lawrence, and Charles Lester Bullard.
Mr. Bullard was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked at Saco-Lowell Shops for about 15 years. He also ran Wayne’s Grocery, a small country store for several years.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Norma Jean Cole Bullard; daughter, Amanda Bullard-Maxwell; daughter, Robin Bullard Mitchell; three grandchildren; siblings, William Alvis “Pat” Bullard, Rachel Bullard Kelly, and Felicia Bullard Overton.
