Wade J. Palmer, 76, of Siler City died Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Unity Powerhouse Holiness Church with Pastor Cedric Lee officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mr. Palmer was born January 13, 1943, the son of Beulah Mae Johnson Palmer and Bishop Odysseus Palmer. A graduate of Chatham High School, After retirement from Selig Manufacturing Company, he was known for custom upholstery in cars and furniture. A member of Unity Powerhouse Holiness Church, he was chairman of the Trustee Board. He was also a member of Light of the World Masonic Lodge #711 of Siler City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Rosboro Palmer and a brother, Lee Edward Palmer.

Survivors include a son, Alan Wade Palmer and a grandson; brothers, Mark Palmer of Greensboro and David Lineberry of Siler City.
