THOMAS “TOMMY” DANIEL FERGUSON

Thomas “Tommy” Daniel Ferguson, 87, of Siler City died Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.
Mr. Ferguson was born in Chatham County on June 16, 1930 the son of Ike and LaBaron (Teague) Ferguson.  Tommy was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a foreman for C. R. Perry Poultry and worked for the Siler City Parks and Recreation.
Tommy was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Ferguson; his parents; brother, I. M. Ferguson, Jr; sisters, Louise Fowler, Nelle Decker and Isabelle Fowler.
He is survived by daughters, Sallie Ferguson and Brian Herrmann of Siler City, Cindy F. Thomas and husband, Tim of Mooresville, NC; son, Thomas Michael “Mike” Ferguson of Apex, NC; granddaughters, Alison and Morgan Thomas; sister, Nancy Harris of Siler City; sister-in-law, Pauline Case of Mayodan; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service was held Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Cemetery, 3631 Mt. Vernon-Hickory Mountain Church Road, Siler City with Rev.  Jason Dickerson officiating.
