Theresa “Terrie” Connolly Doyle, 90, of Pittsboro, died Thursday, March 5, 2020, in her home at The Arbor at Galloway Ridge.
A Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Church, Chapel Hill, at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2020. Interment will be at the Church’s Memorial Garden and Columbarium.
Terrie was born in New York City to Timothy and Delia Lydon Connolly of Galway, Ireland. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Tom Doyle of 63 years, two sisters and two brothers. She was a Parishioner of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Her working career was at the New York Telephone Company. She then worked as an interior designer for private customers, and later worked with her husband in a Housemasters Franchise. They were among the first residents of Galloway Ridge.
