The top books checked out by Chatham County citizens

Did you know that, during fiscal year 2018-2019, the Pittsboro branch of the Chatham County Library system circulated more than 40,000 items?

Forty thousand is a lot of books, magazines, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks and more, and we were curious as to what the top books checked out by Chatham residents were, so we asked. Here now, the top five books in adult fiction, adult non-fiction, juvenile fiction, young adult fiction and easy fiction, as checked out in fiscal year 2018-2019:
