Mr. Rex Wyatt Knight, of Sanford, passed away on Friday, (08-31-2018) at his home.
The funeral service was held at the First Apostolic Church at 3 p.m. Sunday, (09-02-2018) with Rev. George L. Akers, Jr. officiating. Burial followed at Countryside Presbyterian Cemetery.
Mr. Knight was born in Lee County, to Junior “Simon” Knight, (deceased) and Mary Barbara Buchanan Knight.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by sisters, Debra Thomas of Sanford, Donna Marie Knight of Sanford, Paula Sloan of Woodbridge, VA and Penny Sowards of Suffolk, VA.
