SILER CITY — Ella Randall of Pittsboro signed to continued her academic and soccer career at Randolph College in Lynchburg, Virginia, recently at the Chatham Charter athletic banquet.

Randall earned All-Conference and Scholar-Athlete Awards at the Knights’ banquet and was the first Lady Knight to be chosen All-conference in soccer in all four years.

She will be the first Chatham Charter girl’s player to play collegiate soccer after graduating this past Saturday morning with the honors Summa Cum Laude, National Beta Club honors, and House Milholen honors.

Randall also received state diploma Endorsements of College, College/UNC Endorsement, NC Academic Scholars, and Global Languages while also receiving the Randolph College STEM scholarship of $30,000 per year, the NSF Scholar Award $2,000 per year, and was accepted into the SUPER program.

While winning a total of $169,957 in scholarships. Randall is still awaiting for others to come into Chatham Charter before the fall season arrives.

The Randolph College Wildcats athletics program competes in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

Randall played club soccer for Liberty Soccer Academy for five years and was coached by Jacob Landry and Andrew Bradham.

Randall is the daughter of Lisa and Bret Randall of Pittsboro.
