Penny Beck Spencer, 60, of Bear Creek died Tuesday, (06-05-2018) at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill.
A graveside service was held Friday, (06-08-2018) at 10 a.m. at Chatham Memorial Park with Rev. Bob Wachs officiating.
Born in Chatham County on November 7, 1957 to Geneva Hilliard Beck and the late Cecil Earl Beck. Penny was a graduate of Chatham Central High School and a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Bear Creek.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Spencer of the home; mother, Geneva Hilliard Beck of Genesis Health & Rehab; sisters, Helen Emery of Harmony, Shirley B. Jordan of Bear Creek; brother, Johnnie E. Beck of Lemon Springs.
