Perennial wrestling power Orange High had little trouble with Northwood on Wednesday night in Hillsborough as the host Panthers dominated the middle and heavy weight classes enroute to a decisive 51-25 victory over the Chargers in 3A Big Eight Conference action.

Joe Sipper picked up the initial win for Northwood on Tuesday evening with a pin of Matthew Smith-Breeden at the 3:27 mark of the 120 pound match.

The Chargers also received a victory via the pin from William Lake at 182 as Lake conquered Jacob Wrenn with 3:45 showing on the clock.

At 220, Northwood’s Matt Briggs pinned Jack McBroom at the 3:10 mark.
Capping the scoring for the Chargers in the match was Jamison Davis in the 132 pound bout.

Davis was impressive in a 9-0 Major Decision over Henry Jobert-Stenzel.
It wouldn’t be enough, however, as Orange won seven of its nine matches on the night with pin victories to take the 51-25 Big Eight Conference win.
