Mavine Garner Yow, 84, of Seagrove, passed away December 20, 2020, at Tara Plantation of Carthage.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at New Center Christian Church, with Dr. Jonathan Burris and Rev. Jason Franks presiding.
Mavine was born in Randolph County on April 13, 1936, to Julian and Esther Chriscoe Garner. She was a member of New Center Christian Church, and was formerly employed by Pine Hosiery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Dennis Yow; brothers, Howard, Farrell, Willard, Walter, Lloyd Garner and sister, Fannie Stutts.
She is survived by her brother, Amon Garner of Asheboro.
