Kate Rainville of Pittsboro won the "Heroes" category of the art contest for her creative paper collage art piece.
She wanted this piece to represent that "Even though shattered by chaos, there is still beauty within."
She believes that this piece can represent the “beauty within” heroes, who perform acts of kindness during difficult times.
