Mary Lowe Chrisco, 83, formerly of Broadway, died Monday, April 26, 2021, at Pinehurst Health and Rehab.
Graveside funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2021, at Cross Hill Cemetery with Rev. Garland Smith officiating.
Mrs. Chrisco was born in Surry County on March 15, 1938, daughter of the late Jessie William Lowe and Stella Logan Lowe. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Fred Howard Chrisco. Mary worked for many years at Quality Mills in Carthage and drove the bookmobile for Moore County before her retirement.
Surviving is her son, Steve Chrisco of Olivia; daughter, Darlene Newman of Maryland; sister, Maxine Kolmonen of Florida; brothers, Harold Lowe of Greensboro and Gary Lowe of Asheboro; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
