Linda Jones Brady, 78, of Bennett, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020.
A graveside service will be held at Fall Creek Baptist Church at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2020, with Rev. Edwin Moore presiding.
The body laid in state at Joyce-Brady Chapel on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Linda was born in Chatham County on June 15, 1942, to Robert Gordon Jones and Doshie Maness Jones. She was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church and had been employed with NCDOT as a parts clerk. In addition to her parents, her son Roger Brown, a brother, Charles Jones, and a great-grandchild preceded her in death.
She is survived by daughters, Marta Purvis of Carthage, Anita Brady, Sharon Hussey, Tonya Saunders, all of Bennett, and Lisa Cockman of Carthage; 10 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
