Lillian Fern Beavers, 78, of Bear Creek, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019.
The funeral was held Monday, December 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Sandy Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Wachs, Rev. Val Chadwick, and Rev. William Fields officiating.
Mrs. Beavers was born in Bear Creek on March 10, 1941, the daughter of Joe and Nannie Gaines Fields. Fern was a retired assistant teacher at Bonlee Elementary and attended Sandy Branch Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Melvin Fields, Jack Fields, and Joanna (Fields) Scott.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Duke Beavers; daughter, Debra Sue (Beavers) Hale; son, Robert Philip Beavers; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
