Leslie Diana “Dee” DeMarcus Jacobs, 74, of Siler City died Tuesday, (06-12-2018) after a five year battle with cancer. Mrs. Jacobs was born in Chatham County on October 23, 1943, the daughter of Louis DeMarcus and Alice (Brady) DeMarcus Clark. Dee had been employed as an accountant with UNC in the Housing Department. She is survived by one son, Mark Jacobs of Statesboro, Georgia; her mother, Alice (Brady) DeMarcus Clark; three granddaughters and one great-granddaughter. The family will receive friends Saturday, (06-16-2018) from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City.
