RANDLEMAN — The Jordan-Matthews girl’s soccer team blanked host Randleman 4-0 April 10 in 2A PAC 7 Conference play.
The win kept the Lady Jets atop the league standings with Wheatmore, both having 7-1 marks. J-M moved to 10-5 on the season as well while Randleman dropped to 1-7 in the PAC 7 and to 3-7-1 overall.
Jennifer Parroquin continued a great sophomore season with two more goals to spark the Jordan-Matthews effort including a goal in each half as the locals extended a 1-0 advantage at the half with three goals in the second forty minutes of action to blow the game open.
Yared Zagada chipped in a pair of goals in the second half for the Jets to finish off the 4-0 win while Diana Mendoza added an assist.
Providing a strong field game with two steals was Janet Solano while Ashley Cervantes also contributed a steal to the J-M cause.
Hannah Jones, a senior, worked all 80 minutes in goal for the Jets and recorded five saves to pick up the win in the net.
