Jessie Beal, 89, of Carthage, passed away on Monday, (06-18-2018) at Tara Plantation.
A graveside service was held Wednesday (06-20-2018) at 2 p.m. at Buffalo Cemetery with Rev. Elton Bryan officiating.
She was born in Moore County on March 26, 1929 to the late Curtis and Mae Wicker. In addition, she was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Parks and two granddaughters.
Survivors include daughters, Susie Barnes of Sanford, Shirley Pittman of Southport; son, Johnny Beal of Mt. Morris, MI; brother, William Wicker of Greensboro; sisters Flossie Beal of Sanford, Leatha Garner of Myrtle Beach, SC; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
