Janice Evelyn Whitaker White Goodwin, 79, of Carthage, died Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Peak Resources.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Barbecue Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. David Sherrod officiating.
Mrs. Goodwin was born in Lee County on February 12, 1941, to the late Arthur and Jewel Clark Whitaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Clifford White and Dan Goodwin; brothers, Jimmy Whitaker, Herman Whitaker, Jerry Whitaker; and sisters, Faye McLeod and Rebecca Whitaker.
Janice is survived by a son, James Lee White of High Point; daughters, Donna Cox of Sanford, Lora Street of Sanford, Elaine Ferree of Carthage; sister, Brenda Hall of Cameron; and five grandchildren.
