James Malcom Cameron, 86, of Cameron, died Saturday, (07-28-2018) at Pinehurst Health and Rehabilitation Center. The funeral was held Tuesday, (07-31-2018), at 11 a.m. at Cameron Presbyterian Church with Rev. Katherine Dudley officiating. Burial followed in the Cameron Community Cemetery. Mr. Cameron was born September 14, 1931 to the late Turner and Nannie Shaw Cameron. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Frieda Burkhardt; siblings Frank Cameron, Ruth Yow, and Frances Medlin. Surviving relatives include his son, Ben Cameron of Cameron; one grandchild and two step-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to First Health Hospice in Pinehurst.
