To the Editor:
Good Day! This is a plea to people of or passing through Goldston on S. Main Street. I am a little old lady who spends time mowing my yard. When I try to mow next to the street, maybe — just maybe — 30% of drivers actually try to pull over a little for me.
There is a steep drop from the side of the road to my yard and the only way I can maintain it is by standing at the side of the road. My nice neighbor across the street trimmed it last week, but I don’t think I should have to depend on anyone when I should be able to do it myself. Just asking people to please be more accommodating.
