Gladys Miller Stout, 99, of Ramseur, died Friday, (07-27-2018) at her home.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, (07-29-2018) at the First Baptist Church of Ramseur with Rev. Wayne Dunn officiating. Burial followed in Sunset Knoll Cemetery in Ramseur.
Gladys was a native of Davidson County and a graduate of Asheboro High School. She retired from Acme McCrary and was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Stout; son, David Charles Stout; parents Pearlie and Fallie Hedrick Miller; sisters, Aileen Fox, Virginia Parrish, Mary Shoemaker, Betty Sue Luquire; and brother, Herman Miller.
Survivors include a daughter, Diane Stout Smith of Bear Creek; sons, Bill Stout of Greensboro, Rick Stout of Asheboro; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
