Gary Wayne Gaupp, 69, of Southern Pines passed away on Monday, (11-12-2018) at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.
The funeral service was held in the Chapel at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Friday (11-16-2018) with Rev. Robert Thomas officiating. Burial followed in Flat Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
He was born in Atlantic County, NJ on June 8, 1949 to the late Alvin George Gaupp and Myrtle Catherine Corson Gaupp. He graduated with his undergraduate degree from Greensboro College. He continued his studies at various seminaries and become an ordained minister, serving in several denominations.
Gary is survived by his wife, Nancy Gail Hurley Gaupp; daughter, Treva Lynn Gaupp of Columbus, OH; and sister, Brenda Gaupp Daniels of Absecon, NJ.
