ZiFu (Teddy) Tang of Chapel Hill submitted a series of pieces related to the "Love" category, but the judges' top pick was his work titled "Froggy Visiting His Quarantined Mom," based off of his experiences living with his mother when she experienced COVID-19 symptoms.
His drawing illustrates him visiting his mom in her room, where she is seen holding her iPhone "so she can see what is going on with the world" during the era of COVID-19.
