Mrs. Frankie “Lucille” Gattis, 67, of Robbins, passed away Thursday, (11-01-2018) at FirstHealth Hospice in Pinehurst.
A graveside service was held at 2:10 p.m. on Sunday, (11-04-2018) at Pine Rest Cemetery in Robbins with Tim Scott presiding.
Lucille was born in Moore County in 1950, daughter of the late Thomas Madison and Betty Jane Saunders Smith. She attended Sandhills Community College where she obtained her credentials as a Registered Nurse. She worked in the nursing profession until her retirement from Penick Village. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and her husband, Jerry Wayne Gattis.
She is survived by her children, Douglas Allen Gattis of Robbins, Celia Gattis Scott of Sanford, Alfred Ray Gattis of Cameron; brothers, Thomas Wayne Smith of Robbins, Garrett Leland Brown of Seagrove; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
