Frank Morris Jessup, 68, of Pat Murrow Road, Bonlee passed away surrounded by loving family and friends Wednesday, September 5, 2018.
Frank was born in Mecklenburg County on November 12, 1949, the son of Burton C. and Catherine Kellam Jessup. Frank was a 1969 graduate of Jordan-Matthews High School and attended Bonlee Baptist Church. He was an independent logger and professional truck driver. Frank enjoyed life to the fullest, but his greatest pleasure was his family.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda Martin Jessup; daughter, Stephanie Jessup Meadows and husband Jack; brothers, Harvey L. Jessup and Dr. Beverly C. Jessup and wife Donna; grandchildren, Owen Kellam, Luke Martin and Macy Elizabeth; nieces, Kristin Cloer and husband Chris, Kellyann Whapham and husband Brent and Kathleen Rose Jessup; great nephews, Ethan, Noah and Sawyer.
The family received friends Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC.
The funeral was held Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Bonlee Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Bonlee.
