Frank Hoyle Lemons, 93, of Siler City died Saturday, November 17, 2018 at UNC Hospice Home, Pittsboro, NC.
Mr. Lemons was born in Chatham County May 14, 1925, the son of John Milton and Lena Covert Lemons. He was employed by NCDOT as a Foreman. Hoyle was a member of Edward Hill Friends Meeting. He loved his grandchildren, enjoyed gardening and bird hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Wilson, Doyle and Johnnie Lemons, sisters, Barbara Elmore, Mozelle Clark and Alma Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Kathleen N. Lemons; sons, Richard Lemons and wife Susie, Barry Lemons and wife Mary Lois, both of Siler City; grandchildren, Jeri Powell and Richard Lemons, Jr.
The family received friends Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Edward Hill Friends Meeting, 92 Ed Leonard Road, Siler City. The funeral was held at 2 p.m. with Josh Conrad officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
