Mrs. Florence Ashworth Baker, 94, of Sanford, died Thursday, March 5, 2020, at her home.
The funeral service was held Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Eastside Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Ernest Hinson and Pastor Jim Skinner officiating. Burial followed at Lee Memory Gardens.
She was born in Harnett County, on February 6, 1926, to the late Henry Ashworth and Rettie Baker Ashworth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewitt Baker and by daughters, Glenda Baker and Helen Thomas.
She is survived by her son, Bobby Lynn Baker; daughters, Barbara Mason and Judy King; twelve grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren.
