Eunice Faye Edwards Gilmore, 76, of Lillington, passed away on Thursday, (06-07-2018) at her home.
The funeral service was held on Tuesday, (06-12-2018) at 3 p.m. at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Yow and Rev. Jerry Parsons officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
She was born in Harnett County June 30, 1941 to the late Jessie James and Allie McNeill Edwards. In addition, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Wayne Gilmore, Sr., and brothers, Gerald Edwards and Jessie Ray Edwards. She was a retired registered nurse having worked for both Fayetteville VA Hospital and Central Carolina Hospital. Eunice was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Roy Wayne Gilmore, Jr.; and sister, Shirley Wilson Thomas.
