Edna Inez Williams Jackson, 80, passed away on Wednesday, (09-12-2018) at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sanford.
The family received friends on Wednesday, (09-19-2018) from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at New Life Fellowship Church. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Dr. Gail Dickens officiating. Burial followed in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
She was born in Edgecombe County on May 6, 1938 to the late Herbert L. and Annie Jane Fore Williams. In addition, she was preceded in death by husband, Jimmy Allen Jackson, Sr.; sons, David Allen Jackson,Timothy Wade Jackson; daughter, Pamela Jackson; brother, Atlas Williams. She had worked at Coty for many years.
Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Jackson Rudisill of Sanford; son, Jimmy Allen Jackson Jr. of Sanford; sisters, Betty Lou Harrison of Florida, Helen Freeman of Elizabethtown; brothers, David Williams of Oklahoma and Willie Williams of Sanford; four grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
