Dorothy Jean Burson Garrison, 85, of Pittsboro died Sunday, (09-30-2018).
A memorial service will be held Saturday, (10-06-2018) at 11 a.m. at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Greg W. Burriss officiating.
Mrs. Garrison was born in Brownfield, Texas on October 13, 1932, the daughter of Richard “Dick” and Avis Juanita Burson. Dorothy was a graduate of Texas Tech, employed as an accountant and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by daughters, Cindy Adams and Janie Smith, both of Orlando, FL; sons, Earlee Garrison of Pittsboro, Robert Garrison of Siler City, Michael B. Smith; sister, Sharon Byrn of Orlando, FL; brother, Tom Durbin of Washington; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
