Daniel “Danny” Franklin Thomas, 65, of Siler City died Monday, August 13, 2018.
Danny was born in Chatham County on December 5, 1952 the son of Billy Bob and Mary Edith (Phillips) Thomas. Danny was a member of Oakley Baptist Church and a truck driver with more than 30 years of service without an accident or ticket. Danny was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by wife, Melissa Peace Thomas of Siler City; two daughters, Natalie Thomas Powers and husband Michael of Siler City, Kelly Thomas Adelman of Pittsboro; grandchildren, Bryson Adelman and Leah Kathryn Powers.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Oakley Baptist Church, 2300 Siler City-Glendon Road, Siler City. The funeral will follow Thursday at 2 p.m. at Oakley Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Johnson and Rev. Tim Howell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
