Damon Gray Dickens Jr., 62, of Sanford, died Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at the First Health Hospice Center.
The funeral service was conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Dean McInnis officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
He was born in Lee County on May 14, 1958, son of the late Damon Gray Dickens and Euna Belle Williams Dickens. He was preceded in death by his parents. “Gray” retired from Coty after 26 years of service.
Surviving is his wife, Dale Mason Dickens of the home; sons, Brandon Dickens and Jonathan Dickens of Sanford; stepson, Adam Cameron of New Bern; sister, Susan Dickens Griffin of Supply; two granddaughters, one step-grandson.
