Clarence Lee Turney, 53, of Sanford, died Saturday, (10-13-2018) at First Health Hospice House in Moore County.
The funeral was held Monday (10-15-2018) at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with Rev. Don Flynn presiding. Burial was held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
He was born in Moore County on June 22, 1965, to Anna Jane McCoy Turney and the late Julius Jacklean Turney. Mr. Turney was employed by This End Up where he built and designed furniture.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Susan Elizabeth Renfro Turney of the home; sons, Christopher Lee Turney of Sanford, Dylan Reed Turney of Cameron; one stepson, Justin Lee Harrington of Sanford; a daughter, Cara Dianne Turney of Sanford; brother, Charles Turney of Sanford; sisters, Cathy Gutierrez, Barbara Thomas, both of Sanford, Betty McLeod of Goldston, Phyllis Patterson of Sanford; and six grandchildren.
